Elder Miller was transferred to Quito today!  He says the area he is in is called Calderon Col la loma.  Here is a link I found about it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calder%C3%B3n,_Quito . He has a new companion, Elder Jacobs.  He says it feels a little cooler there then in the coasts.  So far he has only visited his new apartment and he doesn't know where anything is yet.  More info and maybe pictures next week! This past week.... *Exchanges *Baptismal interviews *Zone Council *They had a family get baptized on Saturday! Screenshot from today's video call

Screenshot from today's video call A normal week, teaching studying etc. This is the last week in this transfer so he will find out Saturday evening if he is being transferred to a new area or if he is getting a new companion or if nothing is changing.  A funny side note, it is hard for him to remember English words, his thoughts are in Spanish, so when I ask him about something sometimes he starts answering me in Spanish!  I think he only realizes when he sees the confused look on my face:)

Screenshot from today's video call Elder Miller had a good week.  He did service at a school picking up trash and planting fruit trees.  I think he said they were Maracuya trees.  They also helped do other service including yard work etc.

This p-day Elder Miller played sports with other missionaries from his zone, ate some kind of fish soup for breakfast, and did some window shopping.  This past week was full of service including hauling cement in buckets and doing a little painting at a school!  Yesterday was his companion, Elder Garces birthday!  They had food and cake at a members home to celebrate!  The following pictures are from the baptism I mentioned last week!

Two posts in one!  Last Monday, Elder Miller aka Justin was travelling so we didn't hear from him.  All of the missionaries in the Ecuador Quito North Mission, 170 of them, went to Quito for a special devotional!  They traveled to Quito on Sunday and returned home on Wednesday.  While in Quito they went to a devotional with President Nelson.  They also had two mission conferences.  They were fed good food and they also went out to eat at McDonald's and Domino Pizza!  He hasn't had any American fast food since he left Mesa!  On Saturday, August 24th they had a baptism for a young man and Justin got to baptize him!  He will send pictures from that soon.  Following is a ton of pictures we got today from the trip to Quito! Screenshot from our video call today! Waving goodbye at the end of our call today!
