Justin's Ecuador Quito North Mission

We had a phone call today for p-day.  He said he has an appointment at the Ecuadorian Consulate on Wednesday, it is right in Phoenix so it's only about a 15 minute car ride from where he is.  If all goes well he will fly to Ecuador on April 15th! Window in the church he attends at Guerrero Park  Sunset in Mesa  The chapel in Guerrero Park Another view of the chapel He had a good week except for a bike accident, he ended up with cuts and bruises and a hole in his pants but nothing is broken!  People there continue to be so kind and helpful!  I'll update if he sends anything more about travel plans!

Elder Miller had a good week!  Here are some of the things he said... After P-day ended we went out visiting since Elder Asay was leaving. We visited Ruben, then visited Hermano Diaz, he fed us dinner(Hamburgers, tacos) it was delicious. We then visited la familia Garcia, had a great visit, Elder Oliphant got to meet the family and we had a good visit. We then biked home, we didn't have much time for stuff today. So we biked home, we talked a lot tonight, had a good time. It was a little weird to say bye to my old companion, but my new companion is really cool. Today I woke up, did some stuff then got picked up to go to choir practice, it went well, my companion had a  meeting after that. We biked to our home to wait to get picked up for the Charla Foganera, we had choir practice before, it went  well and the Charla Foganera was great, we had food afterwards, talked with the people that came. We then got  dropped off home. Today was busy but go...

Tomorrow is transfer day!  Elder Miller is staying in the same place, he is getting a new companion, Elder Oliphant.  He was able to go to the Gilbert Arizona Temple, two days in a row!  He had a good week!  A lot of times he and his companion have problems with flat bike tires, he'll be a bike expert by the time he leaves Mesa lol!  He had an apartment inspection that went great.  Still no news on the visa.

P-day was switched this week!  It was today, so far he has messaged us and called us.  It is a really busy day for him. I'm sharing the pictures he sent! Gilbert Arizona Temple I get a lot of car pictures! :) A huge cactus he saw, it's like the size of a small tree! The week has been good, he ate a lot of good food, taught some people, had people come to church, the bike he is borrowing got fixed and is like brand new! Health-wise the people that were sick are feeling better.  He got to go to a spring training baseball game, he had a great week!
